Smith County, TX — July 12, 2023, Christopher Hearon was injured following a commercial truck accident at around 8:25 a.m. along U.S. Highway 69.
According to preliminary details released by authorities, the incident took place along U.S. Highway 69 near the Tollway interchange.
It appears from statements that 43-year-old Christopher Hearon was in a Ford F-150 that was going northbound along U.S. 69. Ahead, authorities say that an 18-wheeler had slowed to make a right turn into a private driveway. While its trailer was still across the right-hand lane, Hearon’s pickup crashed into it.
As a result of the collision, Hearon sustained injuries which were described as incapacitating. There were no other reported injuries resulting from the crash. Currently, authorities have yet to confirm additional details about the crash. Investigations are ongoing.
