How Did This Accident Occur?

Most people likely would say that the driver who crashed into a parked vehicle is to blame for a crash like this, but that is just a guess. In my line of work, facts are the best way to determine how an accident happened. That is why a full investigation is needed.

We need to know why the Ram was stopped on the frontage road. Was it on the shoulder, or in a traffic lane? Did the driver put out cones or flares so other drivers would know it was stopped? Was there any way the Ford driver could have avoided the truck, or was it blocking the road?

These questions aren’t going to answer themselves. Investigators must use evidence from the scene, data from the vehicles involves and any available traffic or security camera footage to reconstruct this accident, so those affected by it know exactly what happened.
