Oldham County, TX — February 25, 2023, Christopher Bouse was injured by an alleged drunk driver around 11:35 p.m. on Interstate 40 in Oldham County.
According to authorities, a Volvo semi-tractor was westbound, in the inner lane, on I-40 when it was sideswiped by a wrong-way Dodge Ram 2500. Then the Dodge Ram 2500 purportedly continued forward and sideswiped Christopher Bouse’s Chrysler Pacifica which was in the outer lane. Authorities report the second sideswipe sent both vehicles spinning counterclockwise away from each other.
Authorities report Christopher Bouse suffered serious, incapacitating injuries. They also reported that the Dodge Ram 2500 suffered minor injuries and the Volvo semi-tractor was uninjured.
Police recommended charging the Dodge Ram 2500 driver with Intoxication Assault with Serious Bodily Injury.
