A lot of details here remain unclear, and I have to wonder if any progress ever happened behind the scenes. When authorities have a driver’s vehicle, but that driver allegedly leaves the scene, it’s typically just a matter of time before they find the driver, too. That’s when they can take steps to investigate the accident itself as well as any other surrounding factors that may have led that driver to flee in the first place. Did investigators look into that here?
