Donna, TX — February 13, 2025, a child sustained injuries due to a car accident at around 5:00 p.m. along Val Verde Road.
Investigators said that the incident happened near the intersection of Val Verde Road and the I-2/U.S. 83 frontage road.
According to officials, a man and a child were in a Dodge Ram truck that was going along Val Verde Road. Somehow, the vehicle ended up running off-road where it crashed into a pair of utility poles. Due to this collision, the child sustained unspecified injuries.
There did not appear to be any other injuries due to the accident. Right now, additional details are unavailable.

One of the main challenges with single-vehicle wrecks is people tend to jump to conclusions. Even authorities can be quick to make assumptions without actually looking at the evidence. I’ve had countless calls from folks who felt authorities either brushed their situation aside or focused more on blaming someone than actually hearing both sides of the story.
