Van Zandt County, TX — May 11, 2024, Chastity Daniels and three others were injured in a car accident shortly after 4:15 p.m. along State Highway 64.
According to authorities, three people—45-year-old Chastity Daniels, a 49-year-old man, and a 49-year-old woman—were traveling in an eastbound Mercedes-Benz SUV on State Highway 64 at the Farm to Market 314 intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound Nissan Sentra occupied by an 18-year-old woman on F.M. 314 failed to yield the right of way to highway traffic at the stop sign, entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front-end of the Nissan and the front-right side of the Mercedes-Benz.
Daniels and the 49-year-old man who had also been in the Mercedes-Benz sustained reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck. The 49-year-old woman from the SUV and the woman from the Sentra also suffered moderate injuries, according to reports. They were all transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
