An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the early morning hours of July 23rd. According to official reports, Chanel Jones was travelling in a Toyota Corolla on Bammel North Houston in the southbound lanes, at the Bammel North Houston intersection, when a Toyota Camry coming from the west on Sam Houston failed to yield the right-of-way and struck Jones.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Jones had sustained serious injuries and transported her to the hospital.
