Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a northbound Nissan Altima occupied by a 23-year-old man on Greathouse Road neglected to stop for the stop sign, entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This led to a T-bone collision between the front-end of the Nissan and the left side of the pickup truck. The impact caused the pickup to overturn, rolling an unknown number of times before coming to a stop resting on its wheels.

All four people involved in the wreck suffered suspected serious injuries; they were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
