Guadalupe County, TX — April 14, 2024, Celeste Ann Parker was injured following a motorcycle accident just before 5:30 p.m. along Interstate Highway 35.
According to authorities, 67-year-old Celeste Parker was traveling on a northbound motorcycle on Interstate Highway 35 in the right-most of four lanes in the vicinity northwest of Schertz Parkway when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a BMW that had been traveling in the lane second to the right made an abrupt lane change into the outside lane in front of the motorcycle. This caused the motorcycle to lose control as it attempted to break and avoid a collision with the rear-end of the BMW. The motorcycle reportedly overturned onto its right side, throwing Parker from its seat.
Parker suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the accident. She was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
