Midland, TX — December 31, 2023, Cecil Matheson was injured following a motorcycle accident at around 12:42 a.m. along Palmer Drive.
According to officials, the crash took place near the intersection of Palmer Drive and Nicklaus Street, a neighborhood just off the corner of Loop 250 and Big Spring Street.
Investigators said in preliminary statements that 40-year-old Cecil Matheson was on a motorcycle going eastbound along Palmer. Due to events not clear right now, the motorcycle ended up colliding with a pickup that was parked along the north curb.
Matheson sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision. There were no other reported injuries mentioned by authorities. No charges or citations were reported, either.
