I can only hope authorities here are sparing no effort getting answers for the victim’s loved ones. Late night crashes can be challenging because, frankly, authorities tend to rely too much on things like witness testimony and statements from drivers involved in the crash. Well, when a victim isn’t around to tell their side of the story, who tells it?

That’s why evidence is so important, and to rule out things like mechanical defects, roadway design issues, faulty vehicle safety devices, and other intricate details, authorities need a lot more than witness testimony. They need access to state-of-the-art tools and special training. Unfortunately, departments rarely prioritize accident reconstruction highly enough to give officers access to those resources. If they don’t get a crash like this in the hands of independent accident reconstructionists, they can miss all kinds of important details.

So were authorities here able to move quickly and preserve evidence of what led to this accident? Or could it be they’ve already moved on and left unanswered questions behind them?
