Greenville, TX — December 3, 2023, Casey Allen Jones was killed in a car accident just after 5:45 in the evening along Highway 69.
According to authorities, 38-year-old Casey Allen Jones, of Weatherford, Texas, was traveling in a Dodge Ram pickup truck along Highway 69 just south of the Horne Drive intersection when the accident took place.
For reasons yet to be confirmed, the pickup truck veered off of the road and into a ditch where it allegedly overturned and rolled an unknown number of times before coming to a stop. At some point during the accident, Jones had been ejected from the vehicle. He was declared deceased at the scene as a result of the injuries incurred during the crash.
The cause of the accident is under active investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were not reported on. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
