Tarrant County, TX — March 29, 2024, Carson Yelvington was injured in a hit-and-run car versus motorcycle accident at approximately 7:30 p.m. along S.H. 114.

According to authorities, 20-year-old Carson Yelvington was traveling on an eastbound Honda motorcycle on the S.H. 114 service road approaching the Nolen Drive intersection when the accident occurred.

The motorcycle was reportedly in the far-right lane, while a passenger vehicle was in the center lane. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the passenger made an abrupt lane change at an apparently unsafe time, veering in front of the motorcycle. This caused the motorcycle to collide with the rear-end of the passenger vehicle. The vehicle allegedly fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.

Yelvington incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the rear-end accident; he was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
