One thing to consider is that both single-vehicle wrecks and wrecks involving teenagers need to be handled delicately. Too often, people jump to conclusions. They just assume the driver did something wrong, causing them to overlook all kinds of important possible factors. Were there mechanical issues? Road hazards? Safety defects? Did someone sell alcohol to the underage victims? Did a tire blowout? Did a medical condition contribute to the crash? Ultimately, it’s not about what is likely or not. It’s about considering all possibilities and letting the evidence speak for itself. Anything short of that would be a disservice to the victims and families involved.
