Howard County, TX — June 26, 2023, Carlos Rodriquez sustained fatal injuries as the result of a car accident that happened along Interstate 20.
Investigators said that the incident took place just outside of Big Spring near Sand Springs and Coahoma in the area of eastbound I-20 mile marker 188.
According to preliminary statements about the crash, 69-year-old Carlos Rodriquez, a Big Spring resident, was in a Buick that was driving in the outside lane of I-20. That vehicle apparently became disabled in that lane for unspecified reasons. While there, it appears another eastbound vehicle crashed into Rodriquez’s vehicle.
The crash resulted in Rodriquez sustaining fatal injuries. The other driver was not identified and was not reported as injured. There were no other individuals mentioned in most recent reports. Right now, circumstances surrounding and leading up to the crash are still under investigation.
