Brazos County, TX — September 24, 2023, Carlos Hernandez Rosales was killed and Esperanza Janice was injured after a car accident at 3:10 a.m. on Highway 6.
Investigators said in preliminary statements that the crash took place in the area of the Highway 6 and Westward Ho.
It appears that 26-year-old Carlos Hernandez Rosales was in a Nissan Maxima while 48-year-old Esperanza Janice was in a Jaguar. Authorities say the Nissan may have been going the wrong direction on southbound lanes, and the two vehicles collided head-on as a result.
Due to the collision, Rosales sustained fatal injuries. Janice had injuries which were described as incapacitating. Right now, the exact cause of the accident has not been publicly confirmed.
