Waco, TX — November 11, 2023, four people were injured in a car accident just before 12:30 in the morning along Ethel Avenue.
According to reports, four men between the ages of 18 and 20 were traveling in an eastbound Hyundai Elantra on Ethel Avenue approaching the L-shaped 19th Street intersection when the accident occurred.
For reasons yet to be confirmed, the Elantra failed to make the L-shaped turn onto 19th Street; instead, it continued straight, resulting in a collision with a telephone pole on the east side of 19th. Allegedly, the vehicle’s headlights were not in use at the time of the accident. All four occupants of the vehicle sustained severe injuries as a result of the crash; they were each transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services for treatment.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the incident were reportedly clear and dry. No additional details are currently available.
