Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
As open-and-shut as these details may seem, every car accident involve its own unique challenges. Victims and families need a lot of evidence working to tell their side of the story so they can handle those challenges appropriately. Even if there’s someone to blame for the crash, insurance companies are dedicated to finding gaps in the story that may help them shift the blame. The fewer gaps there are, the clearer the path will be for the victims to get the outcome they deserve. So while authorities may be clear right now about who they blame for the crash, their investigations alone might not be the whole story.
