Accident Report
June 19, 2026, a woman was injured following a car accident that took place Friday afternoon on Lohman Ford Road.
Authorities said that the incident happened at the intersection of Lohman Ford Road and FM 1431. It appears a woman was outside of her vehicle after it broke down. The vehicle somehow rolled over the woman, pinning her underneath.
EMS rescued the woman and flew her to a hospital for treatment. Right now, other details about the accident are unconfirmed.
How Did This Accident Occur?
It’s possible this all was just an unfortunate mishap resulting from a driver being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or, it could be this all happened due to issues with the victim’s vehicle they had no way of knowing about. Either way, this certainly doesn’t seem like your everyday fender bender. Hopefully authorities aren’t treating it like one. It’s frustrating how often I come across unusual accidents where authorities just give it the same boiler plate treatment as any typical car accident. Meanwhile, there could be unusual factors that need unique tools or methods to properly investigate. If authorities are giving this accident the attention it deserves, that would be good to hear. Ultimately, though, that’s up to victims and families to decide, and I’d never suggest anyone take a complete and proper accident investigation for granted.
