Houston, TX — June 29, 2025, two people were injured as the result of a two-vehicle car accident at around 6:00 p.m. along Washington Avenue.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened at the Katy Freeway overpass along Washington Avenue.
Investigators said that a man and a woman were in a GMC Acadia that was traveling southwest at the time. A Honda according was reportedly going the same direction. The two vehicles somehow crossed paths and collided along Washington Ave.
Both occupants in the GMC had reportedly serious injuries due to the accident. The Honda driver had no confirmed injuries.

There isn’t a lot of information about this crash, and I have to wonder if that’s due to authorities not releasing their findings to the public or authorities just not giving the accident the attention it deserves.
It would surprise folks how often car accidents I’ve handled only got proper investigations after authorities already moved on to other responsibilities. Sometimes, it takes victims and families being unsatisfied with the answers they’re getting to finally bring all the details to light.
