Harris County, TX — November 6, 2022, three people sustained injuries due to an accident between two vehicles along the Highway 288 service road in Houston.
Initial details about the crash indicate that the accident happened at around 2:21 a.m. at the intersection of the Highway 288 service road and Southmore Boulevard.
It appears a red Honda Accord was going northbound on the service road. A gray Honda Accord was going westbound. There are conflicting details suggesting that either vehicle may have run the red light, hitting the other. Due to this, two men in the red Honda and one in the gray Honda had injuries said to be incapacitating.

The lack of clarity here could simply be due to a miscommunication, a typo, or some other slip up that can easily be corrected. But such mistakes always raise the possible concern that a crash may not be getting the attention it deserves.
