Hidalgo County, TX — November 25, 2023, three people were injured in a car accident just before 5:30 in the morning along 5-Mile Line Road.
According to reports, a 20-year-old woman and a 17-year-old man were traveling in a westbound BMW along 5-Mile Line Road approaching the Western Road intersection when the accident occurred.

For reasons yet to be confirmed, the BMW neglected to stop at the stop sign, entering the intersection at an unsafe time. The action resulted in a collision with a Chevy Tahoe which had been passing through the intersection traveling south on Western Road. The two people in the BMW fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind. After a time, however, they were located and apprehended. Multiple charges have allegedly been made against the driver of the BMW. Both of the occupants of the BMW incurred suspected minor injuries in the crash. The 38-year-old man who had been behind the wheel of the Tahoe sustained suspected severe injuries. All three were transported to local medical facilities in order to receive appropriate treatment.
