Dallas, TX — September 21, 2024, a man was injured following a car accident at approximately 9:15 p.m. along Holmes Street.
According to authorities, a 52-year-old man from Garland was traveling in a southbound PT Cruiser on Holmes Street in the vicinity north of South Boulevard when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Cruiser failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered to the right and collided with the back left quarter of a Buick Enclave that had been parked and vacant on the right side of the road with its front-right quarter.
The man from the PT Cruiser suffered serious injuries as a result of the wreck, according to reports. He was transported to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident—including the identity of the victim—are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
