Harris County, TX — July 4, 2025, a woman was injured as the result of a car accident at around 1:33 a.m. on Diamondhead Boulevard.
Authorities say that the crash happened northwest of Crosby off Diamondhead and Jolly Boat Drive.
According to officials, a 39-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman, and two minors were in a vehicle going northeast along Diamondhead Boulevard. For reasons unconfirmed, the vehicle crashed. This led to the woman in the vehicle sustaining reportedly serious injuries.
No other injuries were reported following the crash. No further information is currently available.

There are plenty of unanswered questions here, but what stands out to me in particular is how only one of multiple people in a single vehicle had serious injuries. It could be there were circumstances that made such an outcome reasonable. However, it’s sometimes a red flag that something which protected the others in the vehicle didn’t protect the victim. Did authorities inspect the vehicle for any potential defects? If not, they could be missing something important.
