Austin, TX — November 24, 2024, Three adults and a child were injured in a multi-vehicle accident about 10:15 a.m. near the intersection of E. Slaughter Lane and Old Lockhart Road.
Emergency personnel were called to the scene in southeast Austin when a witness reported multiple vehicles were involved in a crash that left one vehicle on its side.
Two people were trapped in the aftermath of the crash, but it is unclear if they were in the same vehicle or separate vehicles, authorities said. Emergency crews were able to free them both.
Three people, two adults and a child, were taken to a local hospital, according to authorities. One of the adults reportedly suffered critical injuries, while the other adult and the child had minor injuries.
The other adult involved in the crash suffered minor injuries as well but refused transport to the hospital, authorities said.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the accident at this time.
