Alamo, TX — November 2, 2023, two people were injured in a car accident just after 2:30 in the morning along the U.S. 83 expressway.
According to reports, a 23-year-old woman and a 27-year-old woman were traveling in an eastbound Nissan Versa on U.S. 83 approaching the F.M. 970 intersection when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the Nissan swerved from the far left of the three eastbound lanes, crossing the other two before colliding with the side wall barrier. The collision caused the Nissan to spin back into the center lane, coming to a rest facing west. The 27-year-old woman reportedly sustained severe injuries as a result of the crash. The 23-year-old sustained possible injuries, as well. Both women were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
