Comal County, TX — May 25, 2023, Candice Michele Makovy was killed in a truck accident around 12:11 p.m. on F.M. 3009 in Comal County.
According to authorities, the victim’s Ford Focus was northbound on F.M. 3009, just past Natural Bridge Caverns Rd. when a southbound Ford F-250 allegedly crossed the center line and struck the front, driver’s side of her Focus. The impact purportedly sent her vehicle off the road to the eastern side with its nose pointing west. The Ford-250 and its trailer reportedly came to a stop at a 90-degree angle from each other also on the eastern side of the road.
Ms. Makovy suffered fatal injuries while the truck driver reportedly suffered minor injuries.
