Beaumont, TX — May 14, 2023, Calvin Joseph Pete and another person were injured due to a car accident at around 8:16 p.m. along Concord Road.

Investigators released information about the crash, which said that it happened at the intersection of Concord Road and Delaware Street.

Calvin Joseph Pete, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Beaumont, TX

Preliminary statements said that 41-year-old Calvin Joseph Pete was in a Ford F-150 traveling southbound along Concord Road. At Delaware, authorities believe that a westbound Chevy pickup ran the light, crashing into Pete’s vehicle.

As a result of the collision, Pete had injuries believed to be non-incapacitating while a 50-year-old woman in the Ford had apparently incapacitating injuries. A 12-year-old in the Chevy may have been injured, but this was not confirmed. Currently, additional details about the accident are unavailable.
