Sherman, TX — Brittni Calvert and another driver were injured in a car accident around 6 a.m. on U.S. Hwy. 82 and U.S. Hwy. 75 in Sherman.
Authorities allege that Brittni Calvert’s Kia Telluride was traveling southbound on U.S. Hwy. 75 and a Ford F-150 was traveling eastbound on U.S. Hwy. 82 when the two vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection. The impact then reportedly forced the two vehicles into a concrete barrier on the southeast corner of the intersection.
Officials say that neither driver can recall if they had a green light when passing through the intersection. No citations were issued at the scene of the crash.
Both Brittni Calvert and the driver of the F-150 reportedly suffered serious injuries.
The weather was reported as clear and the roadway as well-lit.
