Ellis County, TX — July 8, 2023, Brian White and a child were killed as the result of a truck accident that happened around 7:40 a.m. along I-35.
Officials released preliminary information about the crash which reportedly occurred along northbound lanes of the interstate in the area of mile marker 384.
Authorities said in their statements that 48-year-old Brian White and a 3-year-old child were in a Kia Soul that was going on I-35. Traffic ahead reportedly slowed due to a previous accident. Approaching that traffic, a collision occurred between the Kia and an 18-wheeler.
White and the child in the Kia sustained fatal injuries. There were no other confirmed injuries. Right now, factors leading up to the crash are still under investigation. No further details are available.
