Something I talk about a lot on this blog is the importance of never jumping to conclusions. Unfortunately, people tend to be less likely to listen when the victim is a motorcyclist. There are a lot of people who immediately blame riders, then move on. But there could always be extenuating circumstances to consider, and that doesn’t change just because someone is on two wheels. Hopefully investigations into this accident have been thorough enough to look beyond the surface and ensure the victim is able to fairly tell their side of the story.
