San Antonio, TX — July 13, 2023, Brian Collums was injured as the result of a semi-truck accident at around 4:45 p.m. along Loop 410.
Investigators said in preliminary statements that the incident happened along the northwest lanes of Loop 410 in the area of Dietrich Road.
According to information released by authorities, 50-year-old Brian Collums was said to be the driver of a Nissan Rogue that was going northbound along Loop 410. Ahead was an 18-wheeler, also going northbound. It appears that the Nissan somehow crashed into the back of the tractor-trailer.
As a result of the collision, Collums sustained injuries said to be incapacitating. The driver of the truck was not reported as injured. Right now, the exact factors surrounding the crash are unclear, and the cause of the accident remains unconfirmed. No further information is available.
