Austin, TX — April 11, 2024, Brian Campbell was injured in a rear-end car accident at approximately 4:15 p.m. along Guadalupe Street.
According to authorities, 42-year-old Brian Campbell was in a south-facing Mazda at a red light on Guadalupe Street at the West Street intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a southbound BMW failed to stop behind the Mazda for the red light. A collision followed between the front-end of the BMW and the rear-end of the Mazda as a result.
Campbell suffered suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck; however, he reportedly refused transport to a medical facility in order to receive treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
