Comal County, TX — November 27, 2023, Brett Miller and Michael Mauldin were injured in a car accident shortly before 6:00 p.m. along Rebecca Creek Rd.

According to reports, 41-year-old Michael Mauldin had brought his Ford F-250 to a stop facing southwest in the shoulder of Rebecca Creek Road at the intersection with a private drive in the vicinity north of the Rebecca Ridge Road intersection when the accident took place.

For unknown reasons, a BMW which was northbound on Rebecca Creek failed to stay in the lane of travel, veering off to the right side of the road and colliding head-on with the stopped F-250. The collision reportedly pushed the pickup into Mauldin, who had been standing behind his vehicle. Mauldin incurred suspected minor injuries as a result of the collision. 66-year-old Brett Miller, who had been the sole occupant of the BMW, sustained suspected severe injuries. Both were transported to local medical facilities in order to receive treatment.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly clear and dry. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
