Bear Creek Township, MI — March 30, 2023, Brent Thomas Irons Jr. was killed in a pedestrian-car accident around 8:01 a.m. on Intertown Rd. in Bear Creek Township.

According to officials, Brent Thomas Irons Jr. was standing next to a parked garbage truck working as an attendant when a Ford Pickup struck the victim and the rear of the garbage truck.

Mr. Irons Jr. suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The pickup truck driver was reportedly transported to a hospital with injuries.

Authorities released that neither speeding nor alcohol consumption is the suspected reason for the accident; further investigation is needed.
