Austin, TX — February 26, 2023, Brendan Greenway and Breelyn Wilcox were injured in an alleged hit-and-run crash around 9:31 p.m. on Harris Ridge Blvd. in Austin.
According to authorities. the victims were heading south on Harris Ridge Blvd. approaching the intersection with Weatherford Dr. in a Nissan Altima when their vehicle collided with a wrong-way Jeep Wrangler.
The Altima was purportedly forced into a counter-clockwise spin and came to rest facing northeast in the northbound lane. The driver of the Jeep reportedly jumped out of their car and fled from the scene on foot.
Officials report Mr. Greenway suffered incapacitating injuries and that Ms. Wilcox suffered minor injuries. Both victims were reportedly taken to a medical center.
Investigators believe the Jeep’s driver was intoxicated due to several open containers found on the floor of the Jeep.
