Orange Grove, TX — May 3, 2023, Brandon Shumake Silva was injured following a car accident just after midnight along F.M. 624.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it occurred near the intersection of Farm-to-Market 624 and Highway 359.
Right now, the details released by officials have conflicting information and do not confirm what did or did not lead to the accident. It appears the crash involved a Chevy Camaro and a Chevy Silverado. One of those vehicles was said to be in a parking lot at 105 E. Orange Avenue. The other vehicle was going westbound and apparently lost control approaching that address. The vehicle veered across the median and into the parking lot where it crashed into the parked vehicle.
As a result of the collision, Shumake Silva sustained incapacitating injuries. There were no other confirmed injuries. Due to unclear language from authorities, it’s unclear which vehicle Silva was in, and additional details require further clarification to confirm.
