UPDATE (February 7, 2024): The motorcyclist who lost his life as a result of this accident has been identified as 29-year-old Braden Michael Watts, of Hitchcock.
Houston, TX — November 28, 2023, one person was killed in a motorcycle accident just before 12:00 midnight along North Durham Drive.
According to reports, a 29-year-old man was traveling on a southbound motorcycle on North Durham Drive in a construction zone just south of the 16th Street intersection when the accident occurred.
For reasons yet to be confirmed, the motorcycle failed to remain safely in the lane of travel, veering to the left and colliding with two construction barrels. The motorcycle was allegedly on top of the victim when it came to a stop.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly cloudy and dry. Additional details—including the identity of the victim—are not available at this point in time.
