Amarillo, TX — July 17, 2023, one person sustained injuries due to a big rig accident at around 12:15 p.m. that happened along F.M. 2219.
Investigators with the Texas Department of Public Safety said that the crash happened in the area of the Farm-to-Market 2219 and Interstate 27 intersection.
Right now, the exact circumstances surrounding the crash are unavailable. Details suggest that a big rig traveling along the road somehow crashed with the side of an SUV. Due to this, one person that was involved in the crash was injured and taken to a hospital. Authorities did not identify that person nor which vehicle they were in.
