San Bernardino County, CA — July 18, 2023, a man was killed and a woman was injured after a truck accident at around 7:15 a.m. along the National Trails Highway.
Preliminary information about the crash released by the California Highway Patrol indicates that it happened in the Oro Grande area outside of Victorville where the National Trails Highway crosses below a railroad bridge.
According to officials, the incident involved a backhoe somehow falling off a truck before then landing on a car. As a result of this, a man from that car sustained fatal injuries. A woman was flown from the scene with injuries said to be serious. Right now, there are no further details about the crash available pending further investigations.
