Laredo, TX — April 21, 2024, a teenaged girl was injured in an auto-cycle versus hit-and-run car accident at around 2:00 p.m. along Willow Street.

According to authorities, a 15-year-old girl was traveling on an auto-cycle in the vicinity of the Willow Street and McPherson Avenue intersection when the accident took place.

Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the auto-cyclist was struck by a motor vehicle of unknown make or model. The car reportedly fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim.

The teenager incurred critical injuries as a result of the wreck and was transported to a local medical center by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
