Anderson County, TX — May 22, 2023, Austin Miles was killed in a single-vehicle accident around 9:48 p.m. on Highway 294 in Anderson County.
Authorities report the victim was eastbound in a Hyundai Elantra navigating a bend in the road when his vehicle veered off the road toward the passenger side. The vehicle’s tires were then caught in the dirt and the vehicle reentered the road in a counter-clockwise spin. The Elantra reportedly exited the road to the north, overturned, and came to a stop on its passenger side against some trees.
Mr. Miles was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the accident scene.
