Robertson County, TN — March 18, 2023, Aubrey Mckee and Bradley Snell were killed in a hit-and-run involving a commercial truck.
Initial details about the accident say it happened at approximately 3:48 a.m. along I-65 in the area of Highway 52. It appears an initial collision occurred where a Hyundai Sonata crashed into a guardrail for unknown reasons.
After the first impact, 33-year-old Aubrey Mckee and 30-year-old Bradley Snell got out of the Sonata. Moments later, a Chevrolet truck hit and killed Mckee. The Chevy driver stayed on-site, but minutes later an 18-wheeler drove through the area and fatally hit Snell. The commercial driver left the scene without stopping.

Both Mckee and Snell died during the course of events. Two passengers in the Hyundai were injured, one critically.
The investigation continues as authorities seek information about the hit-and-run truck. No further information is available at this time.
Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
It’s horrible to see an accident like this with a huge missing piece of the story. But just this past week, there was a similar hit-and-run here in Dallas where a semi-truck left the scene. That driver has since been located and is facing possible charges. I’ve seen situations go as long as a year before someone was finally held accountable, so I would encourage anyone reading about this awful event to remain hopeful and vigilant. Someone is bound to connect the dots and get answers for the victims and their loved ones, and surely there will be accountability for this event in due time.
