Bexar County, TX — May 7, 2023, Arturo Perez Godos was fatally injured due to a single-vehicle accident at 5:13 a.m. along I-37.
According to initial details provided about the fatal crash, it happened in the area of I-37 and Mathis Road.
Investigations indicated that 21-year-old Arturo Perez Godos was in a Hyundai Sonata traveling southbound along the interstate at the time. For reasons which are not confirmed at this time, the vehicle somehow lost control, sending it into a skid that took if off the left side of the road. The vehicle careened onto the median where it the hit a guardrail, then rolled over.
The rollover crash resulted in Perez Godos sustaing serious injuries, authorities said. Those injuries ultimately proved to be fatal.
