Putnam, CT — July 21, 2023, Archie Ray Miller was killed following a tractor-trailer accident at around 4:00 a.m. along Interstate 395.
According to preliminary information about the accident, the incident happened in the area of I-395 exit 45 along northbound lanes of the interstate.
Initial details released by authorities say that 56-year-old Archie Ray Miller was in a tractor-trailer traveling along the interstate. Somehow, it appears that Miller’s truck lost control, and it overturned along the roadway. There appeared to be a secondary collision as vehicles attempted to avoid hitting Miller’s truck.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, authorities say. One other person was taken to the hospital, though the nature of their condition isn’t clear. No further information about the accident can be confirmed at this time.
