Medina County, TX — June 5, 2024, Anita Maldonado and one other were injured following a car accident at around 9:55 p.m. along FM 471.
Initial reports say that the accident happened north of Lacoste near FM 471 and FM 484.
According to officials, 47-year-old Anita Maldonado was in a Chevy Silverado going northbound on the roadway. A BMW was going the opposite direction. Somehow, the vehicles crossed paths, and they collided head-on.
Both Anita Maldonado and the BMW driver were seriously injured. Right now, additional details are unavailable.

With two vehicles colliding head-on, people might think it’s all about authorities analyzing the crash scene and coming to a conclusion about who’s to blame. However, when both drivers are seriously injured, it raises questions about whether the victims were able to give their side of the story. Sometimes, authorities get so focused with handling the accident scene that the people actually involved in the crash never get a chance to speak for themselves. Did authorities do their due diligence here, or did their efforts only ever catch a glimpse of the full picture?
