Hutchinson County, TX — August 23, 2024, Angela Duncan was killed following a pedestrian versus hit-and-run car accident at about 12:00 midnight on Maple Street.
According to authorities, 54-year-old Angela Duncan was on foot attempting to cross Maple Street from north to south in the vicinity between the Elm Street and Chaparral Street intersections when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, Duncan was struck by an eastbound vehicle of unknown make or model. The vehicle reportedly fled the scene of the accident, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any sort to the victim. Duncan suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision, according to reports, and was declared deceased upon the arrival of emergency personnel. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
