Accident Report

March 9, 2026, Angela Crisp and two others were injured due to an alleged drunk driver accident at around 7:13 a.m. along FM 1960.

Investigators said in preliminary statements the accident happened near Spring at the intersection of Crosby Huffman Road and FM 1960.

It appears that 40-year-old Angela Crisp and a 13-year-old were in a Ford Explorer going northbound along FM 2100. At FM 1960, a Chevy Malibu going eastbound reportedly failed to control speed, resulting in a crash.

Both Angela Crisp and the 13-year-old in the Ford were seriously injured. The Chevy driver had non-incapacitating injuries. Authorities allege that driver was under the influence of alcohol and recommended charges.

How Did This Accident Occur?

Whenever authorities mention alcohol as a factor in a crash, it may seem like that tells the whole story. There could be more to this, though. For example, I haven’t seen authorities say they’ve looked into where this alcohol came from. That’s important, and let me explain why.

If it’s true there was an alleged drunk driver here, one possibility is they were at a bar the night before and were over-served so much they were still drunk hours later. This would call for investigations into that bar and whether or not they unlawfully over-served that driver. And two, the driver may have been drinking at a residence. Even then, a proper investigation would retrace that person’s steps to find out where the alcohol was purchased and if the patron was intoxicated already when the purchase occurred.

In other words, drunk driving accidents don’t always begin and end behind the wheel. Sometimes, investigations show everything started hours earlier at the cash register. Families deserve to know that someone who may have had a role in harming them will at least be investigated thoroughly.
