Nolan County, TX — June 21, 2023, Andrew William Luna sustained fatal injuries due to a single-vehicle car accident at 1:50 a.m. along I-20.
Preliminary details about the fatal crash say that it happened near mile marker 240 along eastbound I-20.
According to officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety, 22-year-old Andrew William Luna was in a Toyota Rav4 that was going eastbound on the service road along I-20. Due to reasons not currently clear, it appears the vehicle traveled off the side of the road and into the ditch. The car then crashed into a culvert, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Luna sustained serious injuries in the crash. according to reports. Details say he was taken to a hospital for treatment, but news sources say Luna succumbed to the injuries he sustained on June 24. Right now, there are no additional details available pending continued investigations.
