Hunt County, TX — October 16, 2024, Andrew Clay Allen a was killed following a motorcycle accident that occurred at around 10:07 P.M. on SH 34.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person dead during the evening hours of October 16th. According to official reports, Andrew Allen was travelling southwest on SH 34 on his motorcycle and proceeded to pass a pickup truck that was in front of him. After passing the truck re-entering his initial lane, the motorcycle struck the side of a Ford F250, which caused the motorcycle to catch fire.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Clay had sustained serious injuries to which he succumbed and he was declared deceased at the scene. At this time there has been no further information released from the accident, including whether any charges or citations will be filed.
